It's an interesting concept for me to visit a "farmer's market" that is indoors. I'm used to seeing markets set on the streets on certain days for a few hours at a time. However, the experience of Yellow Green Farmer's Market in Hollywood, is a unique experience.
The market is several thousand square feet and there are rows and rows of artisans selling all kinds of items like homemade soaps, gelatos, teas, coffees, pastries, dog treats and of course produce. You can pretty much make an entire shopping excursion just from this one place.
Surprisingly, prices are good and you can easily negotiate when purchasing multiple items. It's definitely the kind of place where if you go often, the vendors will remember you and keep offering you better deals to keep you coming back.
You can easily spend hours here. I would recommend coming in the morning and enjoying a nice breakfast or coffee and a grain free bar (I brought myself) or one of the many offerings from artisans and yes, there are grain and gluten free options available! Yay! Yay! Next stroll through the different isles and make your purchases. There's even live music on Saturdays. What's not to like?! Overall, this is a great way to spend your day and also accomplish errands that need to be taken care of.
